For my application I think WI is better, I think it'd outperform an intercooler at this boost and ambient air temp levels. It'd be interesting to see.

Yes, right now I'm planning on spinning the outlet to the other side, then mount an IC in front of the radiator. Since I have no lights or anything else up front, I should be able to rig something up.

Tim,

Be sure to check with your sanctioning body whether they will permit lost-water cooling (fogging) on the race track. Many in wheel-to-wheel racing will not. Before you spend the money and labor to install it - its worth checking.

Drag racing, Land Speed racing - no problem. Wheel to wheel, different.

I race mainly with NASA and it is allowed, but I will likely not go that route. Will work on setting up an IC, jut need the SC kit so I can start mocking it up.

My SC will be delivered tomorrow. Hope to finish rebuilding my engine on Saturday and mock up the IC install. At the moment I am thinking that I will stack the IC directly in front of the radiator (no ac on the car). Piping will go down the passenger side headlight area and come back up the drivers side headlight area. Remember, my car is a completely stripped race car with no lights or other extraneous items. At the moment, it's stripped to the max

Your install would be a lot easier than a road car set up, with all the bits in the way. Something I`ll look at over the winter lay up. Good luck with it

Got rid of the BOSCH BOV and fitted a hybrid valve from forge. So at idle, which has improved immensly, there is 10% of the recurculating air being vented and you get a subtle pssssst! on throttle lift.

See your head unit has transit bungs, mine was full of polystyrene

Will be interested in what solution you come up with, regarding tensioning the belt. Presume you`ve had to fit an a/c bracket and mount the alternator up higher

My plan is to find a small turnbuckle, similar to what Butzi68cs has done. Still need to determine and source a shorter belt.

Good luck. Myself an Carl searched high and low for a shot turnbuckle, 68mm closed length and 74mm open. You will need a 6PK1420(mm) length belt.
I have fitted a drop link at the moment for belt adjustment, the smallest I could find
