Note the excellent Air/Fuel ratio at 12.4:1 thoughout most of the boost up to 5700 RPM, where we start adding a little more until we reach 11.8:1 at redline and full boost. We do that to cool the charge air and add engine safety.

We also did a pull with the air filter/cold air system removed and gained only 4 HP. This is normal - all air filter media is necessarily somewhat restrictive in order to function, and a drop of about 4 HP is the lowest you can reasonably hope for. Higher drops with the air filter/cold air system removed would indicate that the air supply system is poorly designed and restrictive. We were very pleased with the 4 HP drop.

I did take a video too... in-car and out-of-car. I hope to find time to edit it and post it this weekend so you can hear what it sounds like.

CONGRATULATIONS. Your car now has more HP than a Nissan 350Z (6 cylinder) and a 1978-1984 Porsche 928 US (8 cylinder) and a Ferrari 308 and 328 (8 cylinder). I have supercharged each of these cars.

The next step for us is Manufacturing and writing the Installation Manual. The parts on the car are one-of prototypes. Now that we confirm they work and there is no belt slip or noises or interference, they come off the car so we can use them as patterns to make more.

This is when we will be able to quantify the cost of manufacturing the kit and get you guys a price.

Thank you for your interest! If you have any questions post them here and I will get back to them. Right now I need to jump back into the shop and catch up on some race prep for an event on Monday.
Here's Carl's dyno chart from back on page 13 of this thread. I haven't seen any other charts from this kit yet.

Well, there's the text from the post, I guess you're going to have to go back to page 13 to see the actual chart.

Mine has been ordered. It will go into the new race car that I'm building, can't wait to pick on the 997S's in GTS4 (NASA)

You won`t be disappointed, the shove from 4000 is good then 5000 immense. In a stripped race car, would be something else

2,500 lbs with driver and 1/4 tank of gas is the target (and where I was on my last car). The weight will be tweeked depending on the final HP numbers as I need to be as close to 8.5 (weight/wHP) as possible for my race class.

I had mine out last weekend, I should really try to get some performance data. Since I am at altitude it won't mean much to anyone else, but it would be useful to me. I was thinking I would install water injection and now is the best time to test the car with the water injection to see if I see a performance boost with it operating. It's the best time for this test because it's very hot out. When I did this with my Saab which had knock sensitive boost control I could see the boost go up when I turned the WI system on. For the 968 I would expect to get more spark advance and better performance with the WI system running, but nothing I can easily measure (unless there is a way to datalog spark advance on the street?)

I have a G Tech Pro Comp which seems to have died and a dyno app for the Droid I have not tested yet.

I'm planning on intercooling mine for the track since I will be flogging it. I don't know much about WI, how much water would you use in a 40 minute race at speed (any guesses)?

As much water as you need...
It depends significantly on the nozzle size. If you use a 100cc/min nozzle, then the max water you could use in a 40min race is ~4L. Obviously the WI system won't be activated 100% of the time, so it is reasonable to expect a percentage of the max water usage.

An intercooler is a great idea, and the 951 cooler would be a good size for your application (not sure about fitment though).

You'd have to do a front mounted IC as the supercharger inlet is right behind what would be the middle of the 951 IC. However it might not be too hard to fit a FMIC if you reclock the SC to exit to the right. The only thing that is not obvious is where to put the MAF and air filter.

For my application I think WI is better, I think it'd outperform an intercooler at this boost and ambient air temp levels. It'd be interesting to see.
