Appears to be another WOB special. His cars seem to be repainted and over detailed. I suspect this is one as well. With all those photos not one showed the purple hues in cobalt and other shades they turn. Very few repainted cobalt blue cars capture the color shift. Also I see no signs of orange peel and very few blemish's. Interesting the CD-2 radio looks nothing like mine. I also find it interesting that all the cobalt turbos I see came with silver vs black exhaust tips. Not sure why that is. I guess we will see if cobalt brings a premium.

wow those BaT pictures are HORRIBLE. How in the heck would any potential buyer really know what kind of shape that Cobalt is in. The pics are so over saturated you can't see a THING (interior included)
Thanks I was too busy looking over the pictures. I don't understand the need for the seller to paint nearly every car. They also like to polish out the orange peel. Not something a Porsche of this era should have done to it. The beauty of the color is when the purple and pink hues show in different lighting. Something I have never seen captured properly with a respray.
Colors do add a premium but not so sure about this one. To my eye comparing it to my car I suspect the color isn't correct in any light, mine looks quite different in dark lighting.
Maritime is my other favorite color. I am not so sure a wrapped car is a worthy investment without photos of its original paint.

Ok, I guess I'll eat my words. $231k + $7,500 + shipping seems a solid result for the '91 Cobalt Blue full repaint with 51k miles. I guess those glamour pics made a positive impact. I guess buyer eyes COULD see everything they needed to see.
