I have the 355mm Brembo GT kit on my car, does anyone know if my calipers would mount directly to these or would my 964 brackets work? OR would I need 993 brackets? Front end refurb is next up on my never ending list. Thanks.

If they are designed for the 993 they will bolt right up. Brembo usually supplies adapters for most of their kits so if the adapter is needed for the 993 then you need it for these. Bolt spacing and offset is 993, not 964.

So, if your calipers are for 964 you may need to get a new adapter for them to mount to these. BBI is a brembo dealer and can help with that.

Another 3d printed model is due this week, they mounted it up and made some tweaks - if that goes right they go to production and will be taking pre-orders. All the fabrication material is in house, so its a matter of wrapping up the models and testing. This stuff takes a little time iterating to get it right.

These models are being delivered this week for test fitment - they should be final. LOT of development work has gone into these. Once they are ready I'll let BBI explain the design and differences.

Now that is looking fantastic. I like the extra webing support between the balljoint and tierod mounts. These are going to have zero flex...

"extra webing"? Compared to the stock steel piece, yes that is extra webing. Compared to the OE RS piece, these have less material since the RS piece has no voids. This is probably how they are achieving some weight reduction.

The stock RS piece has less material around the bearing cage, and this design also joins up the tierod mount a little more with the strut mount. then created the voids for weight reduction. I think this adds up to a lighter stiffer part.

I am not an engineer so I may be using all the wrong terms here.

Here is a pic of a stock RS Part.

yes, they had to do one more prototype which was just tested on my car today. It's GOOD. Parts are going to manufacture now.

BBI will be posting some details of the part, the spec, the benefits, and taking pre-orders.

I'll link to that post once they update the details.

Hello All,

Thank you everyone for all the patience for our highly anticipated BBi StreetCup Billet Uprights. We have been working hard on the development of this product for the last 3 month, with over 200 hours of design time, 38 hours of on car measuring and adjusting, 5 revisions and 4 prototypes.

Priced at $2995.00, they we are now in production and we are taking deposits of $2000.00 now with the remaining balance due at time of shipping. The initial run lot will be 10 car sets for the first batch. We are projecting to sell over 50 car sets, but you all will determine that for us. I know that all of you will be extremely pleased with the construction, quality and design of this part, and here are a few key features below.

1. It is fully 5 axis machined from billet 6061 aluminum as opposed to being casted
2. The geometry of the upright is revised to lower the lower pick up points of the control arm and the steering tie-rod (more on this later)
3. The damper mount is lowered relative to the bearing center-line by 25mm. This is necessary as to how low many of us like to run the cars. This was done to resolve the problem of the cars were running out of stroke and riding on the bump stops on all of the popular aftermarket dampers.
4. 100% designed and manufactured here in Southern California.

If interested, please email me at betim@bbiautosport.com to secure your set. We already have 4 car sets sold as of now and expect to have the first run out of the machines and off to coating in 6 weeks (2nd week in October). Again, thank you for all the support and patience!

New parts look great, look forward to hearing some test drive feedback.

One small comment: It looks like you have the lower ball joint on the wrong side of the wishbone, it should be mounted on the underside not the top side:

Is this deliberate or has someone fitted the knurled screw the wrong way or the wishbone on the wrong sides?

Installation like this was deliberate.
