Happy to hear it would be for 993 radial mount brakes (identical to the original.) If you're going that deep into the project, some 993 brakes wouldn't be a bad idea.

I'd be interested if there were additional options for caliper mountings, like anything off a GT3 as an example.

This sort of thing just wont happen unless you guys are willing to pay the $ of retooling and cad designs. These are going to be copies of the factory design.

I don't understand why you guys call them 993evo

They were first used on 993RS & 993Cup cars, then eventually of 993RSR and GT2 and the racing versions of the GT2 the last iteration being the 993GT2evo

The 993RS was equipped w/ a # of components that were intended for the race versions of the car for homologation purposes, the wheel carriers are 1 such item.

These carriers are intended for use w/ stock 993 radial mount brake calipers w/ 993 rotors, either street versions w/ 32x304mm rotors or RS/Cup versions w/ RS calipers and 32x322mm rotors. The RSR and GT@ EVo used these w/ 32x380mm rotors and the same RS calipers but in this application a caliper adapter was needed to space the calipers out more.

These are not intended for use w/ street 964 calipers which are axial mount, they can be used w/ 964RS/964t calipers and 993 32x322mm rotors.

these carriers are race homologation parts intended for ride heights from ~124mm(street RS) to 95mm(RSR/GT2 race) You aren't going to run lower than the RSR no matter what you drive.

996/997 parts have a totally different design and IMO it's unlikely that they can be adapted to 993, but stranger things have been done

Yes you're technically right, but many refer to these as the GT2 EVO/RS uprights.

Next time I'm at the shop I'll take some pics (well if they let me) of a 993 they're putting 997 parts on. It's quite the project!
