Just talked to Betim. They have prototypes, and have completed bump and geometry analysis of the stock parts, along with the stress and materials analysis. However these are not 100% copies of the factory parts, the geometry is vastly improved over the factory's part. They designed them to work from 964 RS height and down to our BBI club racer height (aka) slammed. The camber and toe curves are as good as the front of a factory 997.2 cup car. The billet component is 2 times more rigid as well. Will reduce pad knock back due to casting flex.
Final sellable parts are about 8 weeks out. BBI will be accepting pre-orders.
Retail will be AROUND $2900.00 US for the pair (final pricing is TBD) and will include the RS style solid inner tie rod and a solid monoball outer tie rod with bump steer adjustment.
I have the factory parts on my car and these are being put on it along with some additional work Im doing to my 964.
and these are radial mount? will accept big red without adapters right?
what rotors do we use? 993 turbo rotors or 965 rotors? since the offset is different between the two. Thx
for those who wants to keep stock 964 calipers. what are their options?
i seem to remember its about 5 lbs ... so 10 lbs in total x4 (theoretical adjustment for unsprung weight)
=40lbs .. not easy amount to find in a stripped car
Very nice design ,
the arm where the outer tie rod bolts on those is completly different than on the 993 RS upright, did you mention they review and improve the geometry ?
Can those be used with the ERP outer tie rods ?
I imagine with different spacers provide in the original ERP kit.
