the uprights looks amazing, really interested to hear how it was developed and also why the outer tie rod bolting point has a different angle but I suppose it is better for the bump steer for very low cars.

I’ll get back over to the shop next week. Let me check if he’ll post them.

Spyerx thanks for all your reconnaissance. I paid the $2,000 months ago for an anticipated October 15 delivery date. If not for your posts I'd still have no idea what's happening. i was assured I would be included the fist batch of ten, but still no word back from BBI. They'll likely just serve as Chrsitmas ornaments until the salt is off the road, but it would be nice if BBI could be a bit more responsive.

Some detail on the ball joint mounting, (shortened?) strut requirements, etc would be great as well.

Update. BBI phoned this evening and reports that the RS uprights will ship this week. Can't wait! I also reached out to Gert at Carnewal, and still no word as to when the OEM RS uprights will be available.

Thank you everyone for placing a deposit for our BBi 993 Uprights and being very patient with usa as we embark on developing such advanced components for these cars. Initially we were expecting to ship them in middle of October and we wanted to take a moment apologize for any difficulties and the frustration that these extended delays might have caused. This is a multi-step manufacturing process that spans across 3-axis and 5-axis machines. We started shipping these last Friday in the order that was received. Here are pictures of the actual production pieces.

Sorry guys i'm slammed w/ work and heading overseas for holidays. Haven't gotten over there.

BUT: Short strut NOT required but will not REQUIRE a short strut for low ride heights, will work with short struts too with sufficient droop at RS style heights.

Man, the unsprung weight drop is amazing. So shorter struts required to make the most out of the component.

Can anyone else speak up for what else is "required"?
*993 brakes or adapted equivalent.
*964 control arms can be reused
*Can standard 964 tie rods be used? or need to be replaced as well?
