Installed the Cup car ABS defeat switch today. Easy install just making it neat and tidy and running wires cleanly takes time.... i like to sheath all wires i install, heat shrink (sometimes solder, usually use crimp connectors), zip ties, etc. finding a suitable ground... used the ground from the removed fog light switch light bulb. That worked To allow abs switch light to function. Metal coat hanger to fish wire through grommet next to the odb1 connector that worked well as it had room for a pair of smaller gauge wires in a sheath.

I’ll post some pics. It does work!

What hood prop is that? My hood struts are weak on don't hold up in the cold and would rather add that than change them.

I'm going to save myself the frustration of changing the shocks and order up one of those hood supports. Now I won't have to hold it up with my head in the cold.

Played in the hills today with buddies 993 c2s. @Tarek307 takes better picture than i do.

you can see the remnants of the Malibu fires a couple years back. Haven’t had much rain yet so still pretty brown.

A bit of a travesty really... we bought a new house in May of 2021. We proceeded to gut it and rebuild the interior. We moved in in May 22.

In sept 21 I parked all my cars. The 71 went to Bbi to complete all the engine swap work, the 964 was washed, waxed, oil changed, fuel stabilized, and parked under cover in my other garage. The RS same, parked at a buddies house.

I've got the 71 home for a couple months, driving it, it's great.
The RS finished up annual service at BBI and back in the garage.
The 964 just dropped for full annual service at BBI.

The car was parked for a year... started right up, no smoke, no weirdness, no noises. Drove fine. I forgot how good it is.

Should be back in a week or 2. This one will be a Luft this year. I think LOL.

Time to get back at it. Done with house ****. Time to get back to car ****.

Yes thanks. House is good. But not enough garage space (small 3 car plus workshop area). Curse of being poor and wanting to live at the beach....
