After you adjust the pedal, have someone else try (from the engine compartment) to further open the throttle while you have the pedal pushed to WOT. There can be a few degrees of opening remaining after you hear the WOT switch click.

It’s no fun snapping the throttle pedal in the middle of a DE event. The Rennline adjustable pedal looks like a great solution.

Where is the breaking point on the pedal? At the living hinge on the bottom?

Anyway. Took opportunity to adjust the height of the brake pedal up even with the clutch pedal. Adjusted flow and action of the gas pedal. And checked the adjustment of the clutch pedal action. Oh. And lubed everything too.

I think i got it now.

I put grip tape on my Rennline track mat as well. It took me back to my skateboarding days doing the install.
I did some research and this company makes sells non-abrasive rubber grip tape. Might pick some up to try out.

yeah. Wife got the honors while i adjusted the pedal stop and the throw to ensure it’s opening all they way. It definitely need a bit more throw past the full throttle switch.
The stock pedals can break at the base plastics hinge.

I used a rubberized anti slip tape instead of normal grip tape. I found it on amazon. Works pretty well and doesn’t trash your shoes.
My mom used to get pissed at me when my new vans already got holes from skate boarding grip tape. Lol

Pedal placement is nailed. So good. Brake feel way better after raising the pedal also.

Anyway. Angeles Forest, crest, and big tuhuanga today were awesome.

I used the carrera gasket from the g body cars. Note it’s not a perfect fit. Has to be trimmed but once installed it looks right.

Love the pics. Are your GT car buddies all buying into 964's too?

I broke my wrist a few weeks ago and haven't been able to drive, totally bummed that I'm missing out on some great weather finally.

That's a bummer. Well, one of them has a 964 (engine work getting done), the other has a 993 and a bunch of other goodies, not sure the other guy is in for the antiques... yet.
They may have been surprised at the pace the antique can keep in the canyons.
