I hate to say it but I have been saying I have tried to fit 15mm spacers with my 10 x 18 ET61 rears and 265 MSS tires. That left me with an ET of 46 and mine rub under hard cornering with -1.3 camber in the rear. Others claim they can fit ET47 without issue. I am using 7mm spacers for an ET54 with enough space on both sides.
There must be subtle differences in the tubs and some cars will accommodate a 46 offset but even with rolled flairs I know mine won't. I was surprised to see they said an ET43 would work.
I hate doing work twice but it is worth getting right. You should have no problem with the 275 on an ET 51.

But yeah, it's best to do it right.
Well, at -3 it would still probably be rubbing... (I forgot to get a pic up in there, the ones I took look cool... LOL... but if you angled it up you'd see the fender basically sitting on the tire at just under -3) and yea -3 not too much for track toy but for now this is mostly going to be street car so don't really want to do more than -2 to -2.5. My RS has something like -3, -3.5... and it's very "alive" on the street, perfect on track.
It's possible with a hoosier or another tire it would be fine, but I like the NT01, it's drivable on street (just not rain) and a good track day tire. But, going 8mm in will give me a bit more room, and I can always use a small spacer to push out more aggressively.

Nordschleife Master
I think -2.0 was the min I can run that'll keep my rear outside shoulders from tearing up at autocross. Your car probably has a lot more roll stiffness than mine tho.

Three Wheelin'
Tire profile also makes a difference. When I ran R-tires for AX, Kumho's did not rub on the rear oil line, but Hoosiers did...same size and same wheel.

Quick update: looks like wheels shipped and target is here Friday. Unfortunately I'm at the track (well that's a good thing right?) all weekend and then business trip for a week...Huge kudos to BBS Motorsport for moving so quickly on this and to BBI for handling the logistics (I bought wheels from them).
Joey just needs the wheels to tie off the alignment, drive the car a bunch to get the damping setup right, install a couple final bits and then we're done.
Also, mostly tied off with BBI on the next steps... goal will be to have the car in there in about 6 weeks. To give me some time to drive it as is, but also for me to strip the interior which is something I'm dreading. But frankly I don't get attached to a car until I have some sweat equity in it so I need to do this vs. farming it out LOL. Call it a bonding experience.

On the elevation, yeah that track is in the middle of the desert. There are 2 spots with some elevation change but it's pretty minor. But the track is a lot of fun, wide, flowing long 180 degree corners that really teach you to manage corner speed and steer with your foot. To some extent it rewards horsepower but lower HP cars can be very fast here, all about maintaining corner speed.
Heres a video from a few weeks ago, I was a second slower this latest outing... A time of 2:00 puts you in top 10 times this last PCA outing, which is a pretty quick group. Car will do 1:55 on NT01 I'm sure of it, but not with a lot more talent behind the wheel Fastest car of he weekend was a 993 RSR I think he laid down a 1:51 or something, very well driven cup cars will get into high 1:40s.
Second video is chasing a few very fast antiques. The blue one I think turned a 1:56 this weekend (82 G series with a 993 motor!!!)
P.S. WHEELS ARRIVED!!!! Unfortunately I'm traveling and won't see the car until Friday.

Very nice. It warmed me up inside. Any track driving is great and far better than dodging snow mounds around here. Have a good week.
