Bizarre! He's listing a car for 800K and can't even be bothered to remove the cover sheet properly to take a single half descent picture.

Actually all front seat surfaces are leather it is the rest of the seat and covered parts that are not unless you spec it that way. You can also add raff or supple leather seats which give you the seat fronts in a non perforated tufted leather. Leather dash and other components would be stitched as others said.

Does it matter at that price if someone is interested based on miles alone will be contacting him with a million questions. I can only imagine what Robert Linton's one off America GS sunroof cab would be worth if it wasn't modified or his most heavily optioned Porsche ever and last 930 turbo with only delivery miles.

No stitching tells you it is certainly not factory leather. Maybe it's the picture, or my eyes, but the dash and doors do not look like my 964. Mine does not have full leather, but the seat fronts are leather as someone else posted.

The dash and doors are not full factory leather and only the side bolsters on the front seats are leather.

Interesting. For a 24 year old car, the bolsters and seat fronts sure do look like identical materials. If they are vinyl, it must be some amazing vinyl that looks like worn leather.

AFAIK and have been informed by PCA's national expert on this the perforated seat surface and side bolsters are all leather for all seats. The seat backs and lower sides are vinyl they actually are hard to tell apart. Try using a leather softener on the vinyl and you will see it does not absorb into the vinyl parts. The sport seats were not offered in anything but leather fronts and vinyl everything else.

That interior looks stock 964 with sport seats to me.

I always use leather conditioner for 15 years now on the front surfaces of the seats. It definitely absorbs - the sides and backs are absolutely vinyl and do not have any resemblance to the front surfaces other than color. I'd be really surprised if the perforated inserts are not leather. Like I said, if they are indeed vinyl, it is an amazing product that mimics leather in every way, including absorbing leather conditioner.

Any thoughts on this 964? I have a renewed love for the 964 and this one caught my eye. It's far away from me so before I book a flight, etc I'd love some thoughts.

It's a tiptronic and has the beige interior. So the price is not particularly low or outrageous either.

Nothing wrong with a beige interior.
