The seller said the car was just shipped to NY yesterday. Improbable he had NY plates in TX.

Is it just me or is Craigslist really hard to trust?? Anyplace that you can buy a prostitute, weed, and a car from the same guy is kind of shady. Lol. Who the hell is this guy Craig... And why does he have so much shet for sale?
Coming home from work I noticed a 964 cab in a car lot and it wasn't there earlier in the week. I am going to stop in there tomorrow and check on it.

How do you guys deal with protection in a private transaction with another individual - for both buyer & seller?

without going to escrow, wire funds, get signed bill of sale, then when wire clears, fedex or hand over the signed title. or meet at the buyer's bank with title in hand. i don't know. there's probably better (and smarter) ways to do a private transaction.

I met the buyer at their bank and had all the documents notarized and let the two banks work out the money transfer details. Very easy and safe for all.

Didn't 94' have speaker surrounds on the tweeters? Also thought 94 didn't have the shell sticker on blower motor. Guess vin would say the year.

I have sen worse repaired so nobody would know it was ever hit but the cost is high. More than likely if the tub is not kinked it would just need a new front clip. The factory manuals show how to cut and weld. Parts are still available new or I am sure some salvage place will have the parts needed.
