It is interesting how each auction takes on a life of its own. This one has made it to the final few hours and no one has asked for paint meter readings yet in other auctions people spend days debating them and sellers get crucified for not having them.

i would assume based in the cowl rust and the front end being reasonably dinged from road debris, people are assuming original paint. of course, this does not suggest anything about the rear of the car. you're right though, each auction tends to get hit with questions based on cues seen in the photos. with online auctions, i think paint meter readings are a good addition from the seller to suggest condition of body panels that could look great otherwise. looks like a decent driver for someone. the repair on the door strap is horrible, though. somewhat rare to see a 964 with this issue - much more common on the 993s.

What happened to the oil filter? - did someone take off paint just to add the date and rust for additional character? or was it sourced used from a scrap yard?
