Been looking for WB 964 for while...couldn't swing both but wanted to partner up one for me and one for a friend...friend was too slow to answer phone...sold FAST.
If those check out, they were incredibly priced.

Seems crazy low. You could get 3/4 of that for 1 of them if they checked out.

only way I can see this NOT being the deal of the century is if both had some major frame damage and/or blown motors.

I was going to contact the seller as I’m going to be in Reno next week but unfortunately someone already snagged the cars. I would have loved to keep the slate grey and sell the silver.

Seller daniel94 has been a RL member since 2006. Only has 106 posts,... but seems legit. Just wanted to unload them? ... or maybe it was $98K per each.

although he says in the ad: "selling them together".

... crazy how the guys that posted up to BUY NOW,.. are RLer with like 5 posts (since March 2019), or 11 posts (since 2010). 1st post to grab a SPOT IN LINE hit it within like 2 hours of the listing going up.
........ guys are watching like HAWKS.

That was a wild deal for sure if they check out, almost a buy one get one. Nice to have a parts cars that you could use and then sell one off and have yourself in a widebody car for cheap money.

I sent him a PM. If he wanted both for $98K, something doesn't add up. If he had posted here in the past, he would have known that a regular 964 is going for more.

He had to want $98K for each individual car or, both of these cars had stories. I think anyone of us on Rennlist would have gambled on $98K for 2 964s, even if they weren't rare wide body cars. .

By the way, he never returned my PM.

I know it looks beat on, but it could probably be had for a couple grand off the asking price. 964 turbos are hard to find and this one could be a good candidate for a restoration or hotrod build.
will need full exterior repaint and complete interior replacement. she started right up,no smoke, no funny noises, idled good. didn't see underneath. what do you think a full interior (except dash) and full repaint will cost?

Around 30k done right maybe low end to 20k if you can reuse some of the rubber bits, don’t replace the windshield and do lot of the prep/assembly work yourself. Seems over priced based on what you say. Projects like that always have “surprises” that end up costing $$$$. Better off spending up for a nicer example.

I think he didn’t return PMs because he was inundated with interest. Go back and read his old posts he paid in the 20’s for both cars 10-15 years ago if I recall correctly. Yes It could be a scam but I think he just knew what he was into the cars for and desired to move both cars together and quickly.

If I've learned anything from buying anything is that if it's too good to be true, it is...
