By the looks of it $10k probably won't address half the issues on that one. BAT should ask for more information from the seller before they list cars like this. Not helping the brand if you ask me.

Agreed. The seller hasn't even made an appearance in the auction yet, and i bet the reserve is $50+ for that thing.

The Red ROW C2 just finished up on BAT for 85k. Going to the founder of Weathertech to send to Singer for a DLS build. Not sure why he had to go after a low miles example, but this is a big part of the reason these cars just continue to increase in price.

I picked up another one last night... the slate gray w/burgundy one I missed out on in the January BAT auction by 2k. Life has a crazy way of working. I'm out on the Murano Green one. He's asking $73,500 with 70k miles if you're interested.

His reasoning for going for a low mile ROW example without airbags but just for the unibody is typical of someone with more money than they know what to do with. If he wanted a non airbag car just about any ‘89 C4 would have worked and I know of two that singer have converted that were both C4’s.
Not surprised tho...I wonder if the FBI/FCC investigation into Weathertech will put him in jail before or after he takes delivery of the Singer?

The crowd on BAT are going BATShhit that someone would spend $90k plus (Preem and tax) for a donor on a $2M build. I guess he really really didn't want a sunroof.

Singers are nice indeed but I think an original 964 well kept well done and in the right color is even nicer.

Sounds like he's doing the right thing by supporting DACA from what I saw in the attached link, Good on him. And thank God for Singer and people who support the brand, IMO

Agreed. But every time one of these gets taken out of the gene pool, our cars become worth more. So, I guess thanks is in order...

He could also care less about the 90K.

Thing is, that red car looked a little roachy to me, albeit only enthusiast's eyes, not a pro. And IDK anything about Japanese standards or record keeping, maybe they are Germanic about it but that car did not look like low miles.

If I wanted a ROW car so badly, I would have picked one up in The EU, some very very nice cars there without sunroofs. And for buyers here who aren't going to Singer a car, they have all the best color combos too. I am writing now about normal cars, not RS cars or mega $ cars of which I personally have seen some also roachy examples. The regular cars are not all rustbuckets by any means and many are better looked after as there are annual mandatory inspections.

Seeing that BAT sale certainly changes things. I think most everyone was under the impression that the Singer 964’s were mostly used up cars that were being used for their VIN and Engine, that is clearly not always the case. Sad to see a good one get cut up.

Be on the lookout for a nice set of used RUF’s, I’m sure they will pop up for sale somewhere.

...I have a nice low mileage car and I'd destroy the car before I'd let somebody who makes floor mats for a living make it into a replicar...
