Hi Ryan,

Well you might be pleased to know your air-cooled Porsche is probably making you more wealthy as each year goes by

Thank you. I'll be doing this over the weekend. Perfect timing.
Hi Trapperbay,

Timing is everything! Pleased it's helped you

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks
I went with remote lock interface and it is slick.
Another member here recommended it.
I'm impressed with how well it works.

I wont have to insert the key into the lock again!

Hi Chaps,

A few photos from PCGB Region 3 Concours at Witton Castle in August taken by the talented chaps at Tell Tale Tim/Tell Tale Torque who specialise in auto, auto sport photography and videos. As you can see they are b!oody good at it too! So I thought i may as well share them since they are the first professional photos I've had of the car. A big thanks to Dave and James :worship:

I'm not sure where the POR 964 plate appeared from, James?

Over 260 Porsche turned out for what was another great day organised by Greg & Deb Harm and all the usual helpers. Thank you.

And a huge thanks to everyone who turned up

Cheers,
Paul

The car and the photography are absolutely epic! Nice job and congrats on placing!

Having said that, I would recommend spraying the 303 on a towel and then applying it to the tire rather than the other way around

Hi Marine Blue,

Thank you, much appreciated.

Yes, you're quite correct about the 303 but the photographer wanted to get a shot of the spray for effect but it's definitely not a good idea to get this stuff on your disks, you know these arty types. All is vanity

Cheers,
Paul

Probably...no, your car is one of the all time top 3 964's on the Rennlist board. I could not be forced to name who was number one since each is special in its own way. I personally believe you set the target beyond what I hope to achieve with my car, but it gives me a challenge that make my car better each and every day that i work on it.

Thank you kindly Santa Cruz Red, I'm pleased to think I've possibly inspired anyone!

Hi Jacke2c, Thank you so much Sir! There are many fantastic examples out there these days when not many moons ago the 964 was a much maligned beast. It's great that people are seeing the the true value of these fantastic motors and brilliant that people are finding encouragement from others to restore and enjoy their cars.

Cheers for now,
Paul

Paul,

I have been reading this thread for the last few days and what you have done is simply amazing! I am have just started down a similar path with a wide body 964 and hope to have a decent result by the end. I may call on you for advice.
Again, such a spectacular result.
Cheers

Hi GentlemanRacer,

Thank you for your generous comments, really appreciated! A wide body project would be fantastic and I'll look forward to seeing it come to fruition. Do you have a thread up?

Cheers,
Paul

Paul,

I will start a thread once I have enough pictures to do so. The car has had bumpers, the bonnet, light assemblies etc pulled and is currently getting the sunroof delete, which takes such a long time. The guys doing it are spectacular. I will likely start a thread in the next month. For now its on my instagram @drives2smiles
Cheers
