That's a real shame, it sounded like you were having so much fun...
Is it going back to Simon's?

Terrible news, but I'd say does slightly serve you right for posting a that cheese-wine-and-marlboro-lights still life..

Bad luck & double bad luck for it to let go so far from home.

I've enjoyed this build a lot & love the look of your car.

Hope it hasn't done too much damage inside.

A few 1970's race and scrutineers' passes dangling from the £2 MGB door handle/pull. The £2 was for a pair and included postage...

3.6 rear badge arrived. Not sure this is the correct position. Not cheap with postage from the USA. Pelican were out of stock so went to Patrick Motorsport

Just before it blew I did stumble across a few 911's on the autoroute from a local French meet. With the cone filter, a 9ff chip which I had forgotten I fitted years ago and the lightweight panels it was considerably quicker than a regular 964. Not just a tiny bit, properly fast disappearing spot in rear view mirror stuff.

Over 2000 miles the only car that ever got near was a German registered Mercedes E63, I decided to back off as the road was getting traffic filled. Fritz Von Big Sausage continued on unabated. Nothing to do with me not being able to get past him of course...

I probably got the last stock from Pelican, which was likely the special order that arrived after I canceled an order still unfilled for one month. I reinstated the order. It's a game of patience. You were probably lucky to find stock at Patricks

My research when I wanted to fit the same badge is that the position you and I have chosen is incorrect, but I prefer it so left it. Mine is the 3.6. The other two are period cars.

Your white car looks great.

As I've got half an engine maybe I should buy a 1.8 badge until its fixed...

Thanks. It spends a lot of time at the track parked close to Gulf colored cars. I posted other pics before.
