Wow Tomato I love this project. I would love to do a backdated project like yours. I like the way your so enthusiastic about the build of the car but the minor detail and accessories too.

I know a guy who is heavily into old VWs and he so much passion on not only his car but the rare accessories, the detail and knowledge behind it.

Its not easy to do such project and such task, sorry to hear about the engine. Am sure its in good hands and onto better things am sure. When you start theres no stopping

Keep up the great work, would be great to see the car in person one day.

Norm

Tomato, I took the pictures, of my work , in my shop!! That job was ten years ago now. No pictures of it done, because the customer never finished it, still a painted shell waiting to get assembled . Damon@series900

Thanks for the info + photos and well done on a beautiful job! The guy that painted my car Gulf Blue has packed it in ( no money as he is a perfectionist) and has taken a job in the McLaren paint shop to get a regular wage...two painters I've since spoken to have said what you did is too difficult. Curved black lines too tricky. I'll go down the wrap route for the big orange and black
stripes and bumpers I think

Default Zzzzz

BTW don't ever say to a Porsche mechanic you're not in a hurry...my engine rebuild is still in full backburner/ snail mode. It will be there for almost a year soon...hope everybody is enjoying their 964

... because I'm not.

Bought some lowering springs off flea bay

They don't fit.

Have bought a house in Castle Combe though so if anyone's passing through or doing a track day get in touch. Parking for 964's could be available

I asked to pay by credit card for some protection but was told bank transfer was the only way...Ed Ang's on facebook but no tweets or posts for 18 months.

Does anyone know anything? I'll post a general question on rennlist asking if he's still alive/ trading

Default It's back

Engine rebuilt! Feels wunderbar, sounds wunderbar
New carpets in! Much better, a tad quieter and cosy too
New sunstrip! Looks better, Porsche graphic to go on yet
Lowered by 30mm! Stance is back but still comfortable
Taxed! Period tax disc now in

Getting lovely smiles off pretty girls and policemen!

Now I have to sell it!

Why are you selling after all the hard work

What do you expect to sell it for?
