RSVT stands for RennSport Vintage Tech.
An Architect and Designer here in Stuttgart started 2011 under this brand to design his first 964 backdate (coming back from US infected by Singer virus). Under this 'brand' we built 5 cars, just for us and some friends. 4 backdates and one ST based on a 911 S from 71. Complete foto documentation is available for each car. But we do not publish them a lot.
However, we do design and project management only and use partners/workshops for the restomodding. Sometimes these shops publish fotos of their part of the job.
Unfortunately for car no.5 this was not allowed....

We put a special focus on many design details, but also the tech aspects for no.5!
If you have questions on certain details you see on the pictures, let me know.
I'll answer any question the best I can.

Hi all. Could anybody be kind enough to advise who sells a smooth sill without a sharks fin? I am aware that DP sell what in looking for and don't doubt the quality, however I want something that's an oe type fit. - can weld / fill the dimples for the fin...
I'd rather not use or modify another's 964 body kit for earlier models and cut the top off unless I have to....I do like the idea of it being smooth tho.
Any links to a 'hotrod' rear grill cover that looks correct to replace the spoiler.
I'm
Not trying to build a retro, just possibly clean some areas that can be returned to stock. Otherwise it's finding a ducktail and a sc grill.
Anybody kind enough to chime. Cheers!

To my eye this blows the singer away. You really captured the backdate nicely. My only gripe and I guess you wanted to keep something modern about the car cosmetically is the pop up tail. With so much put into making it look so true to the era I would have opted for a duck tail myself and gone the full distance. But that is me. In either case a to you.
Any chance you added the rear vent windows as well?

we had ducktails for RSVT No.2 and 3 and we know how important a tail is for the aerodinamics of these powerfull cars. No.5 got an 3.8 L engine, 340bhp.
And I love to go on track and hill climbs occasionally. But I love the clean look of the ST... with the grill from 65-67, a new smooth/flat frame, integrated in the original 964 pop up tail, we got the best of both worlds.
When the the car stands still or is cruising ......see pictures below.
Rear vent windows are hard to handle when you have this kind of roll bar + seats installed. Unfortunately I'm not in California.
In Germany (f.e. Nordschleife) it rains from time to time.....
