Looks like Leh Keen has a 964 C2 backdate build that he's been keeping under wraps.

lehmank TBT. My 91 C2 that I purchased in the summer of 2013. It has been in the body shop for over 2 years now! @brysonthepainter and I have been creating our own body for it inspired by a 73 RSR. This pup should be done in a couple of months once the hand built body gets back from molds!! The "The Keen Project" will be totally up and running. #backdate #itsallaboutfun

Looks like Sloan is getting into the sale of made-to-order Retro 964s....

1992 964 RSR tribute Mexico Blue/Black Luxury Edition
We are excited to offer these 964s inspired by the outrageous RSRs of the 1970s. In contrast to the track specific RSRs, there recreations are full of modern day equipment which includes power assisted steering, ABS, air condition, power windows and of course modern suspension instead of torsion bars. Offered in multiple trim levels, this Luxury edition comes with a completely rebuilt 964 3.6L twin plug motor, custom exhaust setup, very elegant wood grain steering wheel, and a deeper rear valance.

1990 964 RSR tribute White/Black Touring Edition
....an interior inspired by 1968 911 "cross hatch" pattern.

That Sloan car does look good but I just can't get my head around the sills on back dated 964's. Either the bumpers need extending down or the sills want lifting. They look all out of proportion to me!

super curious where they're relocating the buttons from the centre console, I love the cleaner look but can't figure out where I'd put those pieces

Any idea if the black cups are modified or are they speedline three piece done in black.

Interestingly tribute cars have been big for quite some time now. I know of a local who has sold some very nicely done 73RS tributes on SC's using all the right parts and he is fetching well into 6 figures for them. Problem with these is will they be as popular in a few years.

I sold my 74 IROC tribute back in 2003 for $26k after buying it in Europe for $7k back in 85 thinking I did well for myself. Engine was built by max moritz and it used all factory parts. A year after i sold it tributes like that were fetching close to $80k then they dropped off to nothing again when the market took a hit.

Although I have to say these look more like singer clones than tribute cars to me.

Interesting. Anyone know who's doing these builds for Sloan?

I think that's a jacked-up looking, weirdly-proportioned excuse for a backdate and it's a shame 964s were hacked up to create them.

I think the only folks who nailed 964 longhood backdate proportions are Singer and the cars posted by RL member cool911air which I think are made between DP Motorsport and Federleichte-Elfer.de.

I know they're not the most popular backdate but I find that these "give me the fizz"-James May

Vandit, thanks for the flowers and to put us in the area of Singer.....
We have just completed our car No 5.
As always we've built the car for ourselves (my son / me).
This time less agressive (not RSR lightweight track style) but more daily driver approach. Few pics attached.
You find more under pinterest ....
