THAT looks good I see the windscreen slipped in with new seal also you put the scuttle to wing seal in at body shop. I have to do mine at home lol.
I will advise masking tape low tack quality and mask up areas where you will be working like around door handles and once you fit the handle then remove mask up next area etc it will save your paint from scuffs scratches.
I am in the same boat now trying to figure out where everything goes I have a soft top to contend with as well. It would also be a good idea if you can get an extra pair of hands to help with holding stuff while you align and clip in etc.
good luck!
I am slowly putting mine back together.

Not going for the concours look so red 993 handles it is, I have left the front undertray black too susceptable to chips and damage to the paint ,I am also going to put armourfend on the bottom edge of the sill covers/ rear bumper to protect it.

Well made a start today got the 993 handles fitted and put new window felts in they are a pain to fit and the studs that are meant to hold them are crap ended up putting a small bead along to get them to sit better.

That is funny when I got my car back from paint shop from all the jobs that need to be done the first thing I did was put the door handles on first. (mine are still the stock 964 type) I just got fed up of pushing my thumb in to unlock the doors. I did note that once the handle was in if the battery was disconnected the lock mechanism would not turn manually to unlock the door. I need to look to see if I fitted these correctly I assumed they just fitted in one way.

Looks like its been a hard slog getting there, but you are getting there!
Looking forward to seeing the finished car.
Scary thing is for all of us 964 owners, is what lies beneaf what looks like good bodywork and it only comes to light once you start stripping it back.

Right bit of an update and sorry for the crap pics but no room to get it out the garage today just about their a couple of small issues to resolve, the fixings for the front bumper are crap which are size 10 by 22 mm and are to short to get a good hold better with a 14 about 25mm had some lying about but not enough to finish, the bolt holding the thermostat to the sill is broken and as such the the thermostat is hanging down and fouling the sill and one of the sill fixings has come back adrift so nothing major but enough to slow me down.
however pleased as punch its coming along.

looking good.
I have been making shame full progress car still in bits lol. I have been busy with other issues. I am stuck on the scuttle to wing small rubber gasket it is very hard in places to go in. I am thinking of trimming it down a little so it will squeeze in. Any tips in pushing that rubber in ?
I have only put my soft top on and bolted it up I still have sills to do and bumpers and even one wing which I have left off as I wish to change the drier for a new one. I am also trying to get my a/c rebooted hence the drier change out I also have to do the conversion as I am on R12 at the moment which is empty. I left a/c pipe work exposed so the A/c engineer can get to the o seals etc if he needs to due to leaks. Once I have a/c working I will fit the sills on.

i trim about 5-10 mm off the bottom of the rubbers then use soapy water in a squirty bottle and with a plastic rod and hammer knock them home, works a treat and doesnt damage the rubber or the surrounding paint.
