Thanks Vandit. Feel guilty more than anything else - let the guys down at Daytona, it was also the original UK press car when the model first came over and Top Gear tv borrowed it start of last year for a 911 montage.. Another chap was more philosophical with a "911 ownership is a series of chapters - one ends and another starts"

That is a nightmare some pretty big highs and lows, however on the plus side you now have plenty knowledge/experience to restore the next one

an unusual place for rust in the wheelarch not seen that as a problem before.

Some of the smaller bits done 993 door handles look lovely all stripped seems a shame to paint them, no sunshine today back to the bloody snow.

Exhaust is a Fabspeed gave it a bit of a clean up sounds great one of the things that persuaded me to go for it.

Your right delighted, especially with the rear quarter repair had originally contemplated a whole rear quarter.

Hi Gaz! Hope your well! I see you went the whole hog in restoring the 964 fully looks very well executed, especially the rusty bits. In fact it brings back memories of Amazon on the kidney bowl area was the same. I bet your very happy with the metal work, well done! Norm

Cheers Norm, as you well know it all takes time however rather do it right first time getting prepped for paint next week hopefully get it back towards the end of the month and start putting it back together.Colin from performance bodyshop knows his way round a 911 and comes well recommended

Amazon is looking cracking with quality work on your interior

cheers

Gaz
