Actually....I forgot about your whoopsie...I was referring to BU's much bigger one at Donny which would have not ended well if it had been at Oulton!

BTW you need to book the RS day quick because it's almost sold out.

Boxsey - can you bring some chockie digestives as well please?

I notice the Evo triangle and Snowdonia arent too far away so will have to have a crack at those on Sat and Sunday on way back. So even more incentive to keep it out of the sand traps / armco

No biccies but there WILL be home made cake made by Mrs B!

I might yet book it to drive myself

BTW if you want somewhere close to Oulton to stay at a reasonable price and decent food, google Alvanley Arms.

I don't seem to be able to justify doing this day as a driver (£ wise, serves me right for buying a house that consumes money faster than a porker!), despite my best desires....but will book the day off and come in the baby carrier. I'll try and make up for it by bringing a box or two of Walkers shortbread and helping Boxsey make tea!

I can vouch for Alvanley Arms, really nice place and food is great (beer tasted good too!)

I went to Bedford today...and failed the static noise test...by miles! For reference, a g-pipe + decat = 109.6bd (static test). With a DecibelDevil it was 106bd. Still 5 db over the limit.

Doing passenger laps all day was some kind of (expensive) torture.

That's a shame.

Did you get any px laps in Jack or Ade's GT3s?

p.s. Get a standard final silencer off ebay when one comes up, so that you can get on trackdays. Mine is 100 db with decat/standard/standard

I saw two GT3s but didn't talk to the drivers. They were barely off the track tbh! The grey one was having a good tussle with a track-prepped Audi TTRS.

It was a fun day despite half a dozen cars who seemed to be on a mission to undertake in braking zones, spin every lap and generally cause a nuisance.

Javelin trackday I believe? Bad behaviour on their trackdays seems to be the norm.

ClubMSV. Marshals surprisingly unkeen to black-flag miscreants

Interesting! ClubMSV are usually quick to clamp down on bad/against the rules driving.
