Sorry for the slow reply mate....just back from hols and sobering up from my 50th! Also, just picked up the car from Unit11 fresh from having its brake duct kit fitted.

I've not looked in to those tracks and don't know much about them...but feel free to organize something...it doesn't have to be me doing it all the time.

Only me from here (in a caterham) but Araf (Ian) will be there plus quite a few porkers. Frank and Cheeksyboy are hoping to pop in and say hello. The discount has now ended and it's up to £190.

BTW I've heard nothing from Curborough so that won't be going ahead.

They don't do any noise testing...you won't get pulled at Rocky.

Discount rate was the early booking rate whcih was £150.

Had a quick look at aintree and 3 sisters, aintree is a lot bigger and more of a track.
3 sisters is only just a mile long, small more a kart or sprint track simlar to curbourgh.

Aintree only do two track days a year, both organised by Liverpool Motor Club. Noise is a strict 105dB as the local council have fitted a noise meter in somone's house after they complained about the noise from the racetrack after they moved there (allegedly). Bit like moving to the village and complaining that the Church clock chimes the hours and they peal the bells for a Sunday service!

Having been reminded by Boxsey...

I am probably, although not yet signed up, going to Bedford on 15 Dec for the princely sum of £99. It would be great to see other 964s there.

Until I fix my Westy's fuel pump, or get my 964's exhaust made quieter I shall be out of track action....but I'll try and pop along to say hello and spectate (may bring my helmet in case there's the chance of some pax action!?)

Talking of noise, will a 965 on g-pipe and decat pass the noise limit test at Bedford?

I have my doubts. Bedford is strict about noise and I think have a 101db limit. Last time there I registered 98db with a completely stock engine and exhaust.
