Interested (12 needed);
Boxsey

Any more takers for this?
Its great fun & very safe (esp. for novices like me), with just 1 car running at a time!

Oh you quiet thing you, without my Decibel Devil I'm 108db

Here's some of the other on track action from last Friday's Oulton run with Boxsey

Curborough sounds great, just hope the date doesn't conflict with anything my domestic CEO may have planned

There was no formal (or informal afaik) noise check last year

I think as long as you're not ridiculously loud then it would be ok. But Boxsey is the man in the know more than I

I've not had a reply back from Curborough yet chaps, so we're not on at the moment. I'll let you know more if/when I get news.

In the mean time....roll on Donington for Monday.

Donington Today (Monday 24th September 2012):

This is about as close as our 964s got to the track today

The rain was horrendous right from the off and stayed that way all day. The sighting laps were enough to show us that the river cascading down Craner Curves was not to be messed with. A boat would have been better!

We were soon to be proved right when a BMW was recovered from the track with most of its front missing.

At least for us there will be a next time.

You only get a refund if the organizer calls the day off.....which they rarely do and didn't this time. I don't mind a bit of rain (see pic below from a couple of years ago) but today was on the excessive side...far better to waste the fee than the car.

I'm amazed they didn't call it off given that they did so for a similar condition day at rockingham not long ago. You took the sensible option Boxsey.
