Ok, so both sides of the rain gutters were unrolled, both the side top roof skin removed, the front was removed already, and just the rear part left drilled out from a few spot welds>>>

The top skin entirely removed!

Now its entirely removed!

Now its back with the new roof!
Having watched Neil work on the roof, he made it look easy. Still theres still a fair bit of work needs to be done before the roof is entirely welded on.
Working on the car a few weeks without the roof, just seems weird now with one on!

Nice project!
Perhaps you should keep the amazon color, no one will have one as fast as this one really making it a one of. But I like the odd colors...
You know the CTR did not have them...
Along with plastic rear window you can get that smooth rear, and save a few punds.....

Alan is a mate of mine and the de-guttering was done in keeping with the ctr (yellow bird) theme.
Ruf did that mod because the gutter is into wind and causes drag you can buy from RUF,RUF Aerodynamic Aid for A-pillar spoilers they do work and the wind noise is reduced,a cheap way around de-guttering and a mod that works,

Obviously when the roof is in place and clamped, each end of the pillars had to be cut together for a clean join. As I keep on stating that Neil made it so easy, and all my nightmares of wonky roofs was cleared out of my mind

She was left overnight for some bond on the edge of the roof to dry and clamped! Then the pillars were cut and welded as shown below.
