Obviously the first thing is to cut the brackets that holds the second skin as shown, Mr Hanibal Lecter hacking away......on brackets front, side and back...

The main side bracket cut as shown below, and the smaller one further down the side, same applies other side.

Obviously the gutters for the sunroof is'nt needed and could do with them welded up!
Closer up with the plastic ring taken out
The plastic drainage tube that connects to the roof panel from inside the cabin is'nt needed too!

Now the roof(not including the edges of the roof) including the sliders of the sunroof, and sunroof panels, excluding the sunroof motor (misplaced!) is weighed again..

Here it is a 993 targa mod in a 964 The edges now taped up to protect us from getting cut. But still not finished is our Neil, he still has to grind the spot welds out, and off comes the bracket! Well done N!

Hi, great photo's, I bet that is a bit scary to watch, but it will all come together nicely I am sure.
