As you can see on the last picture, Neil had been busy spot welding the edges of the 2 skins on the front and back window edges with this contraption>>>
The corners was tricky, so he used a single point spotwelder>>

Taking shape, and ;looking good
I think you photos really show just how much work is involved in repalcing the roof panel, its certainly not straightforward!

Neil has been performing well in such cold weathers whilst doing other jobs at the same time. Lets say he's a one man band, and a good one at that! He never cuts corners, and the best qualitys is his honesty and workmanship.

As you can see one side of the gutter rail has been folded to a point, but waiting for the right tool to arrive today. One of the pictures will show the difference to the back which hasn't been folded.

Great progress Norm! Happy place for my first post over here. I'm looking forward to a ride next time I'm in England. Assuming you show up for the show this time... you better! =)

As Christmas is upon us, and the festive period is kicking in, may I say Merry Christmas to you all
Odd progress has been made on Miss Amazon, with getting the gutter rails perfect. Neil, has done wonders rolling and perfecting the rails as shown below. Now tell me who needs special tools when you have skill!
Absolutely chuffed with the rails, in the making with nothing to hide but metal shown in the picture.
If any of you guys are doing it yourself, and would like more informations, we would be glad to share.

Cars with sunroofs will have drainage holes as shown below, but because of the new roof (non sunroof) these were welded up.
As you can see the drainage rubber grommet as standard on sunroof cars.
rubber grommet removed.
hole gone, now welded in place.

Having spoke to Steve and a few of you guys on here in regards to the harnesses, which ones are you all using, let me know.
Schroth Clubman, Profi II , Profi III or Enduros?

For my 964 I choose Profi II as it has the smaller and more manageable lap belt.
I has my vote, I do not regret the choice.

yes probably settle with Profi II, but heard the Enduros are easy to remove for when the racers swap drivers!
