Sounds good. Will sort a time out nearer the day.

The better petrol station to meet at is the Shell station where the A494 meets the A5119 at the big roundabout. It's the last stop for decent Optimax/98 ron fuel. There is a Tesco in mold so i guess 99 ron there but no fuel at the one in Ruthin

Steve, the Shell station is on the 'small' roundabout. the BIG roundabout is the next one down the hill and this has an ESSO station ...... and as you say there's Tesco in Mold ....... so much choice!!

Paul,

A combination of bad memory and google maps. It's the only shell station we pass after Queensferry so given the range and consumption of the turbo i always have to stop there to top the tank off on the way in.

Can't risk the drive out on fumes again - i think we ended up at the shell station Evo use that day - possibly Betws-y-Coed.

I see there's no sign yet of Rocco joining us and making it a quintet of turbos.

I bumped him this way on Pistonheads so there might be a chance. Still over a month to go so plenty of time for the runners and riders to change before the day.

Sorry folks but I'm not going to be able to make the Wales Run. Turns out I'll be overseas on the 21st. Have a great time.

There will be a couple of other boxsters (Chris and John) coming to keep Roger company.

You wouldn't want my engine lid after it got vandalised in a dodgy carpark in Stuttgart 18 years ago. Better off with your nice clean one.

You bet! Welcome aboard.

Everyone keep an eye on this thread, as I'll be checking out some new meeting/lunching spots in the next week or two and posting it all here, along with a nice driving route and so on.
