I have a line on a real 3.6RS converted to a 3.8RS wide body. Engine and body updated. This was done long before they were popular. Well done modifications runs strong and is a something I wish I had room for in my garage. Maritime so my favorite color on the wide body RS.
Insane. I assume because it's Ruby it drove the price nuts? People love pink/purple.
Ruby really seems to bring the $$$, especially on BaT. It wasn't a great car worthy of the money IMO. It was for sale for a longggggg time at UDrive for a reason. Not a total dog like that red one from a few weeks back, but not worthy of that kind of money certainly.
That's the personal car of the owner of Workshop 5001. He's been trying to sell it for over a year now I think. When I talked to him, he wanted $339k for it. I assume he's probably willing to come down a bit but he tends to price it high and wait things out. I would be pretty certain it's a very sorted and high quality car though, he's a pretty talented builder.
Think the wife would notice if I swapped out the polar RSA with a Polar RS? I honestly think I could pull it off..until she logs into the bank account.

Well at least you’ll have an even faster getaway car!

GP White/black ‘94 C2 manual Targa on BaT. 1-owner. Was optioned with 17 inch Cup 1’s. However, it currently has 16 inch D92’s. Not sure what happened to the original Cup 1’s. Maybe they put the D92’s on to fit a wider range of all season tires? Has horrible looking BFGoodrich’s.

The wheels shouldn't impact the value though. The 17's can easily be sourced. I have no idea who the seller is however the car and the seller is not far from me. I can't believe the car lived about 5 miles from me and after nearly 45 years in PCA I have never seen it at a single event. Looks pretty clean.
I might have a line on a low mile red over cashmere coupe that might be coming up for sale soon.

Agree it shouldn’t impact the value a ton because of the wheels. Do guys not care as much about the wheels being date stamped to around the same period of production as the car? Know 356 guys care.
Were all the MY 94 Targa’s 718 option code cars? Don’t recall seeing one that wasn’t although I’ve only seen a few and they didn’t do many.

I suspect they were all 718 coded. I don't have any proof though. Nathan probably knows better. I also think that some of these 718 cars were double counted by most sources. Date stamps are one of those things. I sold a 94 turbo exhaust for at the time multiples of what they were bringing just because of the date stamp. Sadly I could have sold it for multiples of that today. I See 17" Cups all the time for sale with original date stamps. I have several sets in multiple sizes myself. I also picked up a set of speedlines for my turbo so I could put my originals in storage. Original condition Speedlines with proper dates stamps have sold for multiples of new. Way to easy to bend a rim around me especially early spring when the roads are in disrepair. I can only imagine what my original 3.8RSR speedlines would fetch today.
