I think gold wheels go together with a lot of colors which is probably why people add them on various cars. IMO the only ones it doesn’t work on that I can think of is an orange or yellow car.

On the walk around video of this car they claimed the cage in the back and fire extinguisher was a factory option. To my knowledge these were not available on the “basic” or RS Lightweight. Only the NGT Clubsport’s were able to get cages and fire extinguishers.

Not nearly as distrubing as the way the hood buckled when he pushed it close at the emblem. Maybe did nothing but man, unnerving.

Why would they replace the stock brakes? The RS had the bigger 993/S4 calipers on the front. The calipers on it don't even say Porsche.

Other than it being a USA/Canada VIN’d car why would it be considered part of the America Roadster cars ? It has much more in common with the RoW WTL Cabs. I didn’t want to highjack the thread anymore than I already did so I thought I’d post the question here and provide my thoughts.

my main thought is this is no more a Roadster than a Taycan can be called a Turbo by the simple fact that a Roadster (regardless of make) should only have 2 seats (or 3 if a bench) and no rear seats. (And you can’t have a Turbo in electric Taycan). A Boxster/718 is a roadster. A 911 Cab is not. A Miata is a roadster. A BMW 3 series convertible is not. According to Miriam Webster and Wikipedia I think I’m correct!

A Porsche Speedster is a Roadster.

The America Roadster was an homage or sorts to a 356 which was 2 seater.

according to Turbo-look.de:

i think simply based on the 2 rear seats I’d have to agree!
