Default 964 WTL

Hi, I have a highly optioned 1994 964 widebody coupe with135K miles, black on cashmere, new clutch, suspension, brakes, fuel lines, tires, some paintwork.
I have seen a recent jump in prices for these. Just wondering what this one would go for...

They finally uploaded pictures and a price of the Horizon Blue ‘91 C2. They are asking $150k. Still want to see more info on the Amazon Green car they have on their site.

Always thought BHCC was a little sketchy, but this seems proper, and maybe even a bit of a bargain with all those records: https://www.beverlyhillscarclub.com/...ca-c-15360.htm

BHCC favors quantity over quality. A lot of their cars are as rough as I’ve seen. Gotten to the point I won’t even look at their cars anymore as a majority have stories and they’ve made a lot of claims that aren’t true. Unless you’re buying a project car for a restoration I would stay away from them.

These prices are interesting for me.

We were at PEC, not sure if any of you guys had the opportunity to make it there for the 75th or the auction preview. The Lavender Blue 964 3.6 Turbo looked well driven from the overall condition. It did not match the lower mileage the car had, based on chips and panels not lining up. The C4 in Pearlescent Green Metallic was also one that surprised me. The Hood and rear decklid gaps were completely off. It was definitely a repaint and potentially had some bodywork.

Always interesting for me to see some of these cars in person that sell at auction. I wonder if these were phone bidders who did not have a chance to view them.

I bet. Even the pictures of the green one aren't that flattering. The most interesting thing about that car is the quirky interior color. Having so many miles on that car - some history maybe should be expected as par for the course.

Grand Prix similarly draws ire, but they have this. Pretty high ask: https://www.grandprimotors.com/used/...d4d107ee42.htm

I've been looking at their inventory. It's doesn't seem too bad - yes some of them look a little worn. Definitely would need some TLC. Have you had experience with BHCC, or know folks that have? Where else can one find a good bulk of inventory of 964's and 993's? - Matt

Everyone I’ve ever talked to about BHCC all say unless you’re looking for a project car for a restoration stay away. They’ve falsely advertised a lot of their cars such as having original paint or no accidents. For example this C4 Widebody they did on BaT was advertised as having original paint when in fact that was far from the case. The car most likely had been rebuilt on the drivers side due to an accident. Also they provided a three bogus paint meter photos one of which their paint meter isn’t able to read. No underside photos either. Doing a PPI with their cars is a must. I’ve personally never gotten that far as something I would find would turn me off about the car.

Good to know. Thanks for the insight!
