Front calipers painted...





and when they say wait five days before second coat... wait five days... good thing I did a small test... it wrinkled the paint... had to scrape it down and start over in that spot...

p.s. I used the same stuff and yes, it does wrinkle the paint if you get too eager.

I am positive they will. The paint is easy to apply and get it right.

Even I was able to do it... and believe me, I am not good with paint...

Well... front brakes are done.. all is left is bleeding the brakes once the rear ones are done.

Valve covers replaced with the Aluminum version.. bye bye to one source of oil leaks





The oil you see in this photo is from when I removed the oil filter I forgot to open the vent bolt to avoid this... anyway, I need to clean the whole car.



I also installed the Cat bypass and the new oxygen sensor... still need to fit the grommet in place.

OK, finally car is back on the road again... brakes done: pads, brake lines, rotors, adjustment of emergency brake (e-pads were good), ATE Blue bleed (that power bleeder is awesome!!!! ; valve covers, cat bypass, oil and filter change.


Front brakes:


Rear brakes:



A quick wash and a drive... It has been too long without my baby... so I will use it for the next few months as my daily driver
