Installing Fabspeed exhaust. A few photos of the old:
Don't ask about the meter... neighboor returned it while we were working on the 964...
Had to halt the project due to an exhaust stud that came out... I could not get the nut to come loose... I hope I can find a new one Saturday morning...
I did install one side... had to use just a little high temp silicone to make the gasket stay in place while I installed the headers.

Ok... here it goes first impressions... don't like how quiet it is.
Let me elaborate...
I have catbypass and G-pipe and the car sounds great!
I thought that this new setup, sound wise, would be at least as what I have now... it is much much quieter... without the muffler it sounds LOUD, nice, but LOOOUUUUUDDD... can't be using it like that around here... but with the muffler in place is sooo quiet
What I like... loosing the weight... the headers are a work of art... able to go straight pipes without much hassel... dual exits...
What I don't like.... too quiet from what I have...
I will post more photos later. Now I need to go get ready for a birthday party...

So if you have catbypass, stock primary, G-Pipe, and stock tailpipe... cheerish that sound, does not get any better...

Photos:
Original hose was too short... so I had to use a new one I had for the other side on the old setup.

I also need new heat hoses to mate to the ones sent by Fabspeed... the old ones are too short for the new setup.
Need to reach from the heater box all the way up there...
and these alone don't cut it... with new heater hoses I can then use the reducer provided by fabspeed to join the two...
also, could have not done it without these...

Here:
My brother is visiting... so I put him to work drilling the holes...
while I assisted by using the vac
Washers cut to fit...
Drilling on the second bay to have the capability to use on both sides...
One happy camper!
Let's test it with something light first...
So far, so good...
Here is a single column use setup...
Guys! Looks like this is working... what do you say about trying a car?
Here I am thinking about lifting the car... point of no return...
Well... it passed the test...
Since it worked with heavier car... let's try a lighter car just for kicks...
This one needed the extensions for the pads
Now with the 964...
