I will dispatch parcels tomorrow. Await PMs with tracking.

Next batch unfortunately will have price increase - anodising alone went 30% up. CNC for sure as well, but that I will check when we have another „group buy”.

Guys, I have this crazy idea to try to fit Camshaft Position Sensor (CPS) into one of the covers (VR sensor).

That way the ones going for standalones would have easy path to fully Sequential with just a small additional cost.

Just need to sort out the way to mount an extra bolt or so into the sprocket when I reach that with the engine I’m currently working on.

What do you think?

That would be interesting but not sure it can be done. You also have to consider since these work on 993's and 964's and that the sprocket design is different on each so it might need two solutions. Will look forward to seeing what you come up with. The clewett solution is simple and might be the simplest solution but why not give it a try?

Gotta get some pics, but got my covers from @konrad911 along with some sweet stickers. Such a great, simple solution that should last forever. They really look great, looking forward to getting them mounted and I'll get some pics. Thanks again.

Define „forever”

I really like Clewett’s design. So simple.
The only thing is to do it, you need your engine out.

The idea about integrating the sensor into one cover is you’d do it with engine in, at once with cover replacement.

Just an idea.

And please, post photos of installed covers. I’m really pleased you like my design and that my design saves those few drops of oil from getting on the floor :-)

Thanks for asking Porkydaz. The current price is TBC, as everything went up already (we have inflation in Poland at c.a. 15% YoY last months :-/)

Anyway I’m out of regular stock. All of the above were made to order basically with a group buy to lower the price reasonably.

The threshold for CNC machining is 10 sets at my friendly CNC shop and turn around time about 4-6 weeks. Add one week more for anodizing.

I’m happy to check the pricing and Timing with CNC shop. Anodizing alone went 35% up, CNC I need to verify.

So having the above Numbers in mind, I expect to have next batch available in the area of 460-470 USD per set (plus shipping, plus extra hardware if needed $20 / $20).

BUT I need valid 10 buyers. Ok, let’s say 5 (I can take 5 and put them
on the shelf, as there is always someone late asking just as you are :-))

So let’s start counting to ten.

1. Porkydaz
2-6. konrad911
7.
8.
9.
10.

I did post on 993 and 993T forums to get more attention.
Most probably the upcoming batch will be "Leichtbau", as I have updated the model to save a bit on weight while keeping it rigid.

We need 10 sets booked to start the batch.

1. Porkydaz
2-6. konrad911
7.
8.
9.
10.

Great project! I would be interested in a leichtbau set potentially but keen to know how they compare to the rennline versions?

The sealing method is different. I went back to the earlier engines design, with no rubber gasket.

Honestly there is no gasket at all.

You will use sealant like Dirko HT (grey), that’s the one I use and works as charm, between the cover and chain box.

Why this works, while factory solution is prone to leakage after years is throughly discussed in this thread.

Some say they look nice too ))

We need 10 sets booked to start the batch.
Missing three
one for the moment.

1. Porkydaz
2-6. konrad911
7. C Ward
8. mf_rsr
9. forbiddenbeat
10.

These come with a set of hardware (studs or bolts included in price, if you want both - add $20).

And please let me know which finish you want (anodised in Black or Silver or OEM-like light silver’ish in matt).
