Car is still being paint prepped and hope to have it in for the first coats later this week. In the meantime I had a custom shift **** and horn button made by Manuel Campuzano. It turned out great and the horn button uses the Momo hardware so should fit the Prototipo wheel I am hoping to install at some point.

^^ Excellent.
The Novell Corona Virus frenzy has slowed the progress slightly since the shop is in the Vancouver area. Since the paint guys all have microfiltration masks, I figure they are the perfect people to come to work during an outbreak. Stay tuned

Yes sir. It will be a while and I will post more pics soon.
I have just been so busy with Covid preparations and meetings and planning at our hospital that pretty much everything else is taking a back seat. I expect as things escalate here in Canada that I will be getting more and more tired and more and more absent.
I will return as soon as I can.

Not much to show, because everybody has ramped down service in response to the virus, but here are the plated windows ready to install once paint is done.

This virus has shut everything down. I have the time to finish my track car now but sourcing the parts has become difficult and shipping stupid expensive. I am missing some small normally available items that is preventing me from moving forward. Best of all If I get it done the tracks are all closed so I can't even test it out.
Hard to tell if that is chrome, Brushed chrome or satin nickel. I used a place in CA a few years back to do some frames and they did a fantastic job for reasonable money. Were these done locally to you? Either case they look great.

Thanks Anthony.
Toronto has been a ghost town for days, but it’s the right thing to do. My hospital was the epicentre for SARS back in 2003 and I had to wear a hazmat suit to work for 3 weeks day in and out and we had police guarding entrance and exits. The virus was that deadly. While not as deadly, transmissibility with this virus is so high that the shear numbers will overwhelm us in healthcare. The key here lies with the people , the everyday people who just need to stay home. We only have so many doctors and nurses, regardless if we find enough ventilators, so those smart enough to do the math should educate those that can’t do it for themselves. I have resorted to using Spock’s 🖖 as my new greeting. Live long and prosper.
venting over.
its plated in Chrome by a local shop, but then brushed by the in-house detailers at Coachwerks. I will try to get a better shot. It’s hard with the lights reflecting off the surface.
I hope you do end up getting the parts you need. It’s been a while since we have seen an update from your car. It’s a good distraction these days.
cheers
