Also fixing the corrosion in the frunk area due to battery acid leak other than that she's set. Call Pino to source the Sigla windshield (201) 904 2240
When things settles down a little I frequent the Mt Laurel C&C event every Saturday stop by if you're not that far or sometimes I go to the one in West Chester, PA then do some runs in the Amish land which is a blast it has unending turns and no lights.

The Saint Gobain Sekuriflex windshield was the original windshield for the 964.

My turbo has its original windshield with all the factory stickers in place and it is a Sigla. My 93 C2 had the original windshield which I replaced with a pilkington but was also a sigla initially although they both had the green tint. I don't recall if my 90 had its original windshield or if it was sigla or not. I do know that Sigla was used through 98 with the 993's. The side and rear windows were Sekurit.

Wasn't it country or more specificially airbag related up until mid-year MY90? The original (1st non-microfiche) parts catalog has always shown sekuriflex.

I read that as well. It might have been but I have seen many original windshields read sigla.

This is my turbo windshield which was the same one that came on my C2 but was too costly to replace with original and I figured I can always swap it out in the future. Excuse the mess and dust but as you can see it still retains the airbag warning sticker which is something you rarely see and the side windows are sekurit. AFAIK the windshield was original on both cars.

My 93 still has it's original windshield. Same Sigla logo on the lower left and the airbag warning decal up by the rear view mirror like the ones in Cobalt's pics.

Let me know when you are heading up. We can social distance at the shop. I have my engine nearly redone still in A1 condition so it is just a simple cleaning and refresh of some seals while i am in there. Now all I need is Pino to get me the car back.

I was up there yesterday. He painted my engine tins and fan for me. There was a little more work on your car than he expected but he is all about getting it right and if it takes a little longer he won't let time compromise the end result. It is in good hands.

I was hoping to start removing my carpet but he hasn't been able to get to mine either. The additional parts should be in next week and then he will begin. I might see you up there from a distance and don't forget your mask.

HNY fellow Rennlisters! just an update on my journey with my 92 964 Cup Car. This is one of the four designated as "Parts Cars" and the previous owner installed a 10 point cage, race seats, fire suppressant system, and lap timer. I had taken her to a DE's once and mostly driven on the street for cruising, C&Cs,and car shows. Mileage is creeping up to mid 20k. I have decided to put her back to stock except for the adjustable suspension (MCS) and dual exhaust from BBI? I think the MCS set up feels great and the dual exhaust sound is amazing.
DunnFab Motorsports of Pennsauken, NJ is doing the work; removal of the aftermarket cage, race seats, lap timer, and fire suppressant system. She will be getting a stock 964 seats, OEM seatbelts, and fresh OEM carpet. She should be back on the road in 2-3 weeks and of course much lighter.
