How much do you pay at the pump for it Sid / Shawn? Another issue seems to be a variation of or inclusion of MTBE in Flex Fuels. This is the component that is the most harmful for motors, injs, fuel systems etc.

in texas e85 is ~$1.50 a gallon right now. I've looked at vp racing e85, but its ~9$ a gallon for a 55 gallon drum. At that cost, im not sure what the benefit of e85 vs say a 104 race gas would be. I would consume less fuel with race gas

About $1.70 us per gallon. I have been running pump E85 exclusively for years now and seen no ill effects to any components.

My 2 local stations recently changed wording from
E85 min 70% to Flex fuel min 51%
Alarmed at first but as of now in the summer heat still tests out 85%.... We will see if mixture changes when temps cool down.
$1.49 per gallon

Thought I'd give another update. It's been a while.
I'm now running ptfe coated fuel lines 8 and 6 an with a fuelab pump. Been dealing with trying to get it reasonably tuned. It's been pretty difficult but I've been learning a lot. We finally got it to a point where the car is running reasonably well on e85 and Ive hit my limit on what to do to the tune next. We found a shop in Houston who knows turbos, e85, and the tec3 so at this point we're going to take it to a tuner with a dyno. Hopefully that's the last bit and nothing else needs to be done to the car. It's been 2 years since I've driven it

if anyone is interested in seeing a current datalog, this is our starting point. This is a little log viewer I wrote since the tec3 software is pretty much crap.
one is with tog set to 9, the other is with tog set to 11. the 9 to me looks better, but the 11 feels better when driving. This is only done on an empty side street, NOT on a dyno.
