im pretty sure you would give his GTR a good run for its money, plus arnt they limited to xxx speed? plus with our cars you dont have to worry about what buttons your going to push before a race, ABS..dont have it, traction control..dont have it, suspension setting...none

When I refered to Corleone's car it was naturally his 951.
The idea is to compare engines of the same capacity, with a CR higher than 8, running the same turbo, on E85, with similar peak boost, the only major differing part I can spot between the two being the head, 8V against 16V.

Haha.. seriously though, my car is no match for his tuned GTR.

I always thought the same thing. Seems like common sence, but after ST was doing the high hp on his 2.5, he was dead against going 16v.

Knock is usually traced back, assuming proper tune, to excessive back pressure. So if you have twice the valves, you get twice the flow?

Maybe a 20v head would be the best for us. 2 intake and 3 exhaust. ???

Do you get any shudder/chatter when starting off? Any signs of slippage under power?

Yes, the 6-puck disc usually shatter during take off. No signs of slippage at all.
It's spec'ed to 500 ft/lbs which I'm below so it should be fine. For now

Not exactly the same turbo.
I think they have different turbine wheels; Corleone's is smaller.

Yep, we have the exact same turbo except for my smaller (0.82) turbine housing.
I'm changing turbine housing this winter to a Tial SS but will stick with the current a/r.

In one of his posts he mentioned that his exducer size was 62mm. Isn't yours 68mm; if you have the full, as is gt35xxx?
I'm just talking wheel size, here; nevermind about the housing.

Shouldn't make any difference at all. It's a bit smoother on the inside so if anything it should gain top end but that's probably negligible.
The pro's is smaller physical and has a nice v-band input.

My is 68mm. Corleone bought his turbo through me so it should be the same (unless he changed it which I cannot remember hearing anything of).

Another thing, this should be the highest rwhp dynoed for a 944/968 engine on pump gas?
I've never seen a chart or heard about a higher chart for pump gas...
