I would assume you need the resistors for the injectors put in then. 15.5 is fine for cold start

Resistors shouldn't make much difference.

yeah i was told resistors shouldnt matter.

OK so I got a new battery and heres the current situation..

AFRs stay right around 14.7 - 16.00 at idle. idles a bit high (about 1000 rpm on the dot)

if i give it any gas the AFR buries to 21.00, car doesnt want to rev and pops every once and awhile...

???

p.s- my boost gauge reads -15.5 while idling with a warm motor, and if i attempt to give it gas the highest i've seen it go was 0.00, usually is around -4.00 when trying to rev

p.p.s- my battery gauge reads low in my cluster, its right around 11v.

21 is extremely lean! Don't drive it like that. You shouldn't be able to make boost just reving the car in neutral, you need to drive the car...

i can't drive the car like this so don't worry haha.

also i just checked with my multimeter across the battery terminals and i only get 12.2v with the car running, this is way too low correct?

have you checked the wiring to your maf. my car was doing the same thing and the little wire on the afm wiper was broken. so maybe one of your maf wires is messed up.

you could check / tap the voltage coming from the MAF, eg it should get bigger as you increase the revs to indicate more airflow

You need to slow down, if it's only charging at 12.2 that might be the problem, pull the alternator and have it tested or add a voltage regulator to your list of parts.

yes but even if i jump the 944 to my bmw the problem occurs. it would have plenty of batt power.

2 things I would look at is the voltage coming out of the MAF

and if there is a good sized vacuum leak you are missing.

Also, verify that the MAF wire is clean. Anything on it (glick, oil, etc) could FUBAR the reading.

Charging issues could also be ground related. And if you ground problems, you could have related problems with the MAF.

How did the DME die?
