Intake popping is a lean mixture. Check the fuel pressure.

One other point, it takes some time for the O2 sensor to get up to operational temp even with a heater so don't put too much trust in the reading at start up. If you leave the ignition on a few minutes before starting, that should help get the sensor up to temp.

so special tool came over with his vitesse maf and dme and in 20 minutes the car was running great with perfect afrs, even untuned.

so like was said, it was your maf or chips.

yep, its all good, now ive got the vittesse maf setup with the smt-6 piggyback, and wasted spark.
