You might be looking away jamming out to some music when something malfunctions and your afr suddenly jumps to 16 as you roll on to the boost... OOPS!
My blitz has 4 map settings. Im having them tune 3. 1 for 8psi, 1 for 14.7, and 1 for 18. I figured that way I dont have to do any guessing on my part, and the builder should back his tune. I plan on running 8 most of the time. The blitz has a alarm when you run too rich or lean, seems loud, but probably wont overpower the music.

Wait, so is this thing you talking about a piggyback?

I don't understand why you need 4 different maps... you are running a MAF right?

Yes. The blitz i-color is an ebc, and then some. I have a LR MAF. Differnt maps for different settings. Like race gas, higher boost, etc.

edit: I dont think it could be considered a piggyback? Thats the mafterburner right?

Hmm I see. I have a similar setup I guess, But I don't have to worry about having a different map for higher boost with the vitesse. I just have one for e-85 and one for pump.

Yeah, I want to go vitesse v-flex makes alot of sense. Migrating at this point doesnt make sense tho. Got the VR3 turbo tho. I dont think I necessarily need a different map for high boost, but this way I know Im tuned perfectly for those settings already. I cant wait to see how well the realtime dyno works on the blitz.

I see. That thing looks pretty but it sounds annoying . I'm using the zeitronix LCD in conjunction with the SMT-6 piggyback. It has complex warning triggers to go into overboost mode or shut down automatically if it goes too lean. The datalogging on the unit is very nice. I'm controlling boost using the SMT-6, pretty sweet deal considering I already had the SMT-6 and the boost solenoid only cost me 125. I can do almost anything a standalone can do, I can't wait to get on the dyno and start playing with it.

Nice. Im pretty sure the sound can be disabled, that was just a demo. Supposedly, I dont need to take it to the dyno, it has one built in. Ill be going once just for a printout for you guys tho.

I don't think that feature is meant to replace a real dyno

I guess that depends on whether or not "John" is comfortable with you sticking something in his exhaust.

I say TT the LS engine with an aftermarket block. Who says 1500hp is too much for a 42" deck!

Your not supposed to do a lawnmower to do that man, that's valuable stuff.
