i don't think 968 style is the best looking posible solution.
I think it the heaght of the mirror was reduced 30 to 50 % and it be more covex on the leading edge like an F1 mirror would be the way to go and more cost effective to make .

All this talk about airflow, wings, undertray etc..(lot of aeronautic engineers on this forum) Does it really matter?

Where is everyone doing 200mph? 55 saves lives.

j/k

The objective is to look like you're going 200 when you're going 55.

On topic: Since I seem to be the interior decorator of the crowd (I'm so proud), how about a rear seat delete kit, with options for speaker/woofer placement.

Once again not my cup of tea but certainly a popular topic around here.

I would guess that there would end up being the possibility of two rear diffusers – a nice looking street unit and a ‘real’ race unit (much like the two front splitters!)
There is space and slope of a good diffuser to fit, getting rid of the rear tire well will help (and should be done for any serious track car – if nothing else you can pull the trans real fast!)
The stock diffuser actually does a pretty good job – it is not just cosmetic.
BTW – even with the stock rear diffuser and hatch wing the net effect is still lift increasing with speed. We don’t have any down force….the force is not with us!
Sample pic of what others do….

The best brake ducts that fit a stock bodied 951 is by far the old OG Racing replacements for the factory brake ducts in the front nose. They are the only ones that can carry the volume needed and the funnel it onto a 3" hose going to a backing plate that seals the eye of the rotor. These are no longer available and even when they were, they were of poor FG quality. The ducts that are available for the fog light replacement have a small hose attachment, and, just try routing the hose through the PS cooler and down and around to the brakes, impossible. Looks good, poor design.
I like the idea of the cowling cover the 968 RS Turbo that covers the wipers and cleans up the air.
I personally would really like an exact replica of the factory dash in a light weight material similar to the one Hans has.
I did email you on a thought about the splitter a couple of days ago.
This is my suggestion too, dont do fog light ducts those are already around.... And they SUCK I think. Make ducts that replace the stock ones but have a hose fitting, for all of the dual purpose cars that would be so much nicer.

And backing plates for brake cooling!

As ideas, I like

1. Custom instrument cluster housing to mount Multifunction guages.
2. Brake duct idea while keeping the fog/driving lights
3. Rocker trim

The ducts I have been working on have a 70 degree ell @ a 45 Degree left and right (depending on driver or passenger side) that slants it toward the brake assembly with a hose fitting molded into the unit. This alows for EASY and clean routing ot the wheel well with minimal bends to clear obstructions.

However, if this part is overplayed I can pull back on this as the final molds are not done ($$$$).

*ALSO, I FORGOT TO INLCUDE THAT WE ARE STILL DOING THE DASH MOUNTED GAUGE PODS (4" to right off centerline of the steering wheel), The contour is real close to the oval dash....looks like it is supposed to be there IMO. AND keeps your eyes up...not trying to locate a gauge "down there" @145mph.

Some things I would buy tomorrow.....

1. Rear seat delete shelf, storage, or something along those lines. Must be light.
2. Euro rear bumper not made of fiberglass (something comparable to stock)
3. Decent intercooler vent as suggested by Tom. (current vented nosepanels are useless without a vent).
4. Engine compartment cover that covers the firewall mess (similar to that on the 968)
