with 52er jets is 400 HP completely impossible and is a fantasy.
320 HP is the maximum order reachable.

Do you have mechanical problems, or is electrical/engine management related problems?
If it's the latter of the two, my suggestion would be to find a good shop that work with standalone EMS and do tuning in-house on a dyno. Remove the stock DME/KLR-boxes and the stock engine harness.
Have the shop install a standalone EMS they prefer and have them build a new harness too.
I won't be cheap, but you can sell your existing stuff to offset some of the costs.
Done right you will remove any chances of problems in the harness plus you'll get a tune specifically for your engine with better driveability than stock.

Adam, I've read your posts elsewhere about how much you have into this motor and the troubles you've had. I agree with Duke. As you've spent a lot so far, another few grand for a perfectly working car shouldn't be over the top.
Good luck with whatever you choose.
Also, try posting in the regular section of this forum and perhaps more of the Canadians will respond. They mightn't see your post in this sticky.

8v or 16 valve for 3.0
What are the pro's and con's of using a 8 valve or 16 valve head when building a 3.0 turbo.
Have the capabilities of doing the exhaust piping for the 16 and also building a intake for the 16 valve.
My project is stalled trying to make a decision . have a Web cam for the 8 valve head .
My only real concern about the 16 valve is all the extra moving parts even though have had good look with a daily driver S2 .
Take out the cost factor between the 2 .
Thanks for any help
Clifton

Any updates of the 3l engines being built?
Very soon I have everything ready to build the engine together. Wössner 16v turbo pistons are currently heading to Swaintech for their "Gold Coat Ceramic Armor" and all bearings are getting a PPM coating.

a 16v head bog stock out flows a highly devepoed "expensive " 8v head ....
it shifts the power band up about 1000 rpm.
a 450 hp 3.0 8v is a faster car than a 450hp 16v .as the 8v is fatter
and i would expect a 500hp 16v would be cheaper than a 500hp 8v
as there would be 2k in getting the 8v head and cam working
and i believe there is only $1300 in fabricating the parts to turbo a 16v

the update is .
crank is knife edged rods prepped but going out for custom pins this week head is done bottom end needs to be balanced after i build my own Pressure plate .I expect to have it in the car by the end of feb then there will be a bit of time as fabrication is about half done . the Loom is about half done as well .

your question brings up the standard reply.....what are yo going to do with the engine? Street / DE / Race? The answer on the 'pros and cons' will depend on the application...

Do i qualify here, or does the engine have to be in the car, in the country, or even in the right continent...
If any of the above, I guess I´m disqualified...
944 enhancement 8v 3.1L info coming soon...
