We turned up the FP to 65psi and still ran lean netting 530whp. So, with bigger injectors and 28psi boost this motor should produce 630+whp. But the car wasn't designed for this, and I didn't want to do this. Tim did, but it's my car and my money if something goes south. Trust me, 18psi and 440whp and similar tq that is available without heat soak, or really stressing the motor or turbo is a faster car than one that can only do this with very high boost and for short periods of time. We hit 440 whp with 120 degree weather back to back over 10 times. No heat soak, no issues just consistent power.Fun car. I like it and it seems to take the power without feeling stressed from a suspension/brake standpoint. This motor just sings and that turbo on boost sounds like a jet. Thanks for the compliment. I really like how the car turned out. Had much help getting it here.

Someday George might decide to take it a little further and when he does we will have some 1000cc injectors waiting for him and a couple other little secret tricks. The fuel system is maxed out with 83 lb/hr injectors. So it is really not safe to run this car above 20 psi and if it is pushed that high, you need to crank the fuel pressure up.I wanted to run it higher but I knew we were done,George was done and in the end........I know this car is capable of 600+WHP. And if you consider it is still a single over-head cam motor, it is even more impressive.

Tim,

Thanks for the fast reply to my question. I'll let you know what I need once I have the car.

Thanks.
Was that for the ability to push above 3 bar, or was that because you just had a lot of confidence in that piece of equipment?

Hi guys,

I just got back from a 500 mile drive in the car with the wife. I thought that the turbo was still too big, but I'm wrong. This car once at speed is amazing. Got my wife to count when passing from 60mph and stop when it hit 100 in third. Hardly ever got to four seconds. This turbo at speed on a long stretch is simply amazing. We have some back roads here in Arizona a few miles from my property www.antlerridge.com (free advertising) where you can see the same road for about five miles. I know many of the local Highway Patrol guys in this area, and they are car guys. They know me and know that this happens only in the early AM, and when nothing is seen on the horizon. This is in the middle of nowhere, and I'm very **** about my tires, suspension, and ability of my cars.

I have to update my Koni Sport suspension. This new power is over taxing a very good setup. Full 968 Club Sport sways, large rear T bar, strut brace, and the sports up to their max doesn't take this power with authority.

Suspension is next, along with some additional tuning for the high country. In the early AM, I had boost cut at WOT for no apparent reason. When I got down in elevation, it stopped. Tim, any thoughts? I'll call you tomorrow.

I had a guy that races on the oval's in the passenger with me this morning. He was smitten to say the least. He's a V8 oval guy, and couldn't believe the endless power of my 4 banger.

George

Sounds great George. When you get around to replacing suspension components, especially struts/shocks, send me a pm first. I'll be in the market for the new 951.
