Hey Tool nice work, been following your progress closely its good to see some out of the box thinking take things to a new level for 951's. What kind of numbers do you expect from regular fuel....if that is an option?

Thanks again guys.

Congrats Tool, now go get yourself a proper Boost controller
That's not what I said. The only thing you should be LOLing is that dyno sheet from 0-5000rpm

My goal was ALWAYS to see what I could within the confines of at least some set of rules. It might not be as fast a twin turbo ZO6, but where are you going to race a twin turbo Vette??....NOWHERE.
My engine is legal in MANY sanctions. 100% legal.

As for the street, its pretty much like a 944 around town - kinda nice.
Then if you give 100% throttle and keep it in the power between shifts....well Its pretty quik.
Finally - its important to remember that Tim did my intake for higher revs 8-8500 (like I asked him to) because this is where the engine will eventually be.
Obviously this slows down the air at lower revs also.
It makes more sense now to know that you do plan on running such rpm's, I would like to see that dyno run

The top ring is what Dave/Ski gave me and I gapped to what they said.
It is NOT a normal top ring, however. I don't know the composition, they will probably tell you.
The ring land on the slipperskirt is VERY beefy.

I am going to Disney World.

Be cafeful trying to run that motor over 7.5k with those stock bearings. You need to consider a different style of bearing or it will fail. BTDT.

BTW, I am at Disney World! Seriously!!

Increasing static CR will reduce his power output at high boost levels and increase the engine's sensitivity to detonation.

don't question 944cs .he is onto something . i asked him once where he shifted he said the light was set at 9370 but he tries to shift before that something about 9410 being a problem area ,balence shaft belt vibration.by the way there is a video of a guy at pocono in a 951 with a lot of mods getting passed like he is standing still. listen to cs's car when it goes past the 951 looks like 100 more horsepower and sounds like no other 944 i've ever heard.

Well done. Now buy some parts made to keep that baby together.

Its becoming very apparant, the cream is rising to the top. It's taken longer than I thought, but it is happening before our eyes. Custom Engineered Products is becoming the company that is offering the parts and services the 944 world have all been waiting for. They are showing us that quality and design win over low cost every time. I had a brief conversation the other day and was brought up to date what's coming down the pipeline. The future looks good for those that want really well engineered products. It's no surprise that some of the better known vendors are now buying their products and offering them in their product line.

We need more to do the same.

Again, well done and thanks for sharing.
