I would love to know how far this project progressed and what obstacles it encountered. I think it is safe to assume it was never completed.
Well that's a bit broad. Sure it was a big number to aim for, but who cares? It's like you saying you're planning on getting into the low 11 sec region with your next update or something like that. Just because you haven't done it doesn't make it wrong or not interesting for others to read about. Don't be mistaken that it isn't attainable. It is, but it's bound to be expensive. My guess is that other things became more of a priority and then there was that small detail of the World Economy collapsing.
...just saying...

You know it is these type of remarks that really **** people off. I don't know if you know anything about what Dave has done but you may want to take a look at Patrick's build thread for where some of the focus has been. I am sure that at least a few of the items made for Pat have been done for himself too.

I have thrown a few things out that I have planned on doing too and some get done some don't. Sometimes finances get int the way sometimes other priorities.

Either way why is it such a problem for you that people post about what they are planning?? Also I haven't seen you comment when others have shown the things they do do. Are you only focused on bagging on someone for not accomplishing their goal ??

rant..over

Or maybe he didnt post much because of posts like yours...? Or getting an infraction for a lame complaint from another vendor in a thread discussing beer? Or....

My turn.

I can tell you the Block is finished, the head is done and the Intake is almost finished. How do I know this. I paid for it.

For those that may not know, the person building this, built many 1.5L Turbo engines that made well above 1000 BHP and many of them won major auto races and championships. This is one project that needs no dyno sheet proof.

The reason it is not finished, many other engines, exhaust systems, and other customers who want "them" to provide engines and other services.

NOW we're talking, any pictures?!?!?!?!??!?!!??!?!?!!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!

I'll be honest, I didn't take this thread too seriously when I first came across it, "how does this evil noob with a bunch of scrap metal for an avatar think he's going to make 1000whp."....But the pictures and specs from 333's build speak for themselves; that thing will be insane! Now I really want to know what the same builder has in mind for an engine making TWICE the power, don't you guys?

Guys, don't let TMS upset you, this is the internet. TMS is free to post anything he wants. Its unfortunate that he can't ever seem to make a positive post about anything.

Tms, maybe you can stop being so negative and post some of the great things you are doing? I actually voted on your thread, "should I stay or should I go" and now I'm second guessing my decision..
