I like beer and Australia too!! but I still want to know what ever happened to this build; isn't anyone else curious? Yes, people bickered on this thread and it got ugly, but there's also a respectful audience that would love to hear more about this. Would it be possible to do a pictures only thread or perhaps one where only the original poster can post?

Well then it would be fantastic if you could say something constructive and educate me. Why can dave do better headwork and what is his experience? Or if that is too difficult maybe you can just stick to spitting your food everywhere and not bother posting snide comments. I don't know where to get a clue so why don't you give me one.

This thread was destined to be an epic failure starting with the first post. It was a classic example of people on this forum making wild claims of what they will be doing, instead of posting about what they have done.
I would love to know how far this project progressed and what obsticals it incountered. I think it is safe to assume it was never completed.

1000hp could be possible. Lots of displacement, 16v head, no? Problem is the rest of the car couldnt hold up to it. Would be cool to prove a point, I wouldnt imagine you would have a very drivable car tho.
