I think you should be able to get more power with chips tuned for your MAF and shouldn't have to replace the MAF. When LR was tuning my car they hit a 350 hp wall and were able to tune it out with my now outdated chips and MAF using the MAFterBurner, Adjustable FPR, and sizing injectors to work at closer to stock fuel pressures at the higher output levels.

So I would estimate that the 4", Stg2 IC and head together probably give you about 20% more hp than without those options?

ok, so 10% for the full Garrett and the head????
Puts the numbers to about 378whp without. Still a big number for K27 and only 18psi. I would love to see the chart if you can find it.

At least I had the courage to video my boost level, but do not loose heart I will be back with more videos and more hp at the same boost level, you can count on that larts never gives out, no retreat no surrender (too much movies, lol)
But your results should be deemed very comendable in that you are sitting at OVER 400hp at the crank with chips that are way off. And it is not timing being pulled out since your a/f is very rich AND you run 20% Xylene.
And ST, and many others, will tell you that a dead on tune/chips in many cases will easily net another 5-10% at the wheels. So you get some new chips and at the same 21psi could be in the 360-370whp range.
So well done Lart!!!

Lart: Sorry for the OT pal.
RKD:
2.8L? 2.8L 2.8L? Start a thread. You keep letting the cat out of the bag, every once in a while, so let's here about it already. Spill the beans?! What is the deal with this 2.8L already and all the mods?

So from about 350whp to 418whp with same boost, 18psi, only making adjustments to " chips/injectors/fuelPressure/MAF" ??
Can you share more details about what those adjustments were?

It main idea here is that the chips think they are seeing stock air measurement and controlling stock injectors at stock fuel pressure. Running higher boost increases the flow into the engine and increases fuel requirements. The MAF output is massaged so it sends the same voltage range to the chips as the stock AFM even though it is measureing a higher peak flow rate. The larger injectors and adjustable FPR are used to get the correct AFR from the stock injector pulses.
