Have a look at my homepage laart. I started with modern AFM chips then developed a custom transfer function to match the lindsey 30 sensor (u will still need to do some piggyback work at high flow). Also flattened the on chip temp compensation since the MAF sensor caters for temp (unlike stock AFM). I flattened the WOT fuel map up top also to make piggyback tuning more logical / RPM independant. Injector sizing catered for in the FQS settings. Timing is untouched, same as everyone is running. PM me if u want any more info.

Bad, nasty things can happen at valve float, it all depends on the severity of the valve float. Anything from a damaged camshaft, lifters, pistons, etc....

Tony did not make over 400 wheel with the k27 - it does not flow enough. It was probably the HI-FI, or some other antique like that.

Tony's car and Myswiss' car are the same....Tony sold it to him.

K27? Don't think so. Here is the link to Tony's web site too. Look down at the turbo he had on it. http://www.tonygarcia.org/red-951-2.html

It was a "New Garrett 60-1 HiFi/Garrett .58 a/r "P" trim V band connections and Thermotec insulation, and custom modified SFR motor mount".

It "was" a fast 2.5L for when he did it, yes. And I applaud him and all the work, research, and things he did to that car. Definately "before" ST was on Rennlist everyday stealing the show, TonyG was a pioneer to the average guy, so to speak. However, we are now in 2006, and with "minimal" mods, especially compared to TonyG's car, ST has really raised the RWHP bar on 2.5Ls. And his list of mods is "nothing, like absolutely, "nothing" compared to all the money Tony had invested in that car back then. That all said, it can't be denied that ST is definately pushing the envelope of the 2.5L. And for that, I have to give the Cookie Monster some credit. But he still did promise to break 600 RWHP before the end of the year too, so we shall see about that one?!

Yes the maximum rwhp bar have been raised but I have yet to see another 2.5l on the dyno that beat the results at the same boost levels as the TonyG/MySwiss car.

Yeah cause that was with a big @ss exhaust housing and turbine! With a full T4 I'd hope it would flow a decent amount of hp!

Duke - do me favor.....check the math on the compressor VS. boost VS 2.5 displacement of Tony's engine at the claimed 18 psi......just to see what you come up with in air weight.

Great, now you went from a Green Gay Bus filled with European Fruit-loops, to Kermit the Frog back from the 1970s? So much for technological advancement. That's like going from a 2006 custom 951 chip, back to the orginal chip in a 1986 model!

Everything with you Duke is Green --->
